RE: General Membership Meeting Summary Report for June 19th, 2025


The following notes represent my personal summary of the June General Membership Meeting and ARE NOT OFFICIAL MINUTES. They are for the express purpose of keeping the members informed in a timely fashion. Since minutes must be approved at a subsequent General Membership Meeting, any updates which would require the use of the actual minutes would result in updates being one-month old.

The following was approved at the June meeting:

  • Minutes of the May 21, 2025 meeting 
  • The financial statement ending May 2025 and the disbursements of $179,832.97.   Our receipts were in excess of our disbursements by $104,596.68.  This resulted in our General Account being positive by $171,131.26.

The following motions were approved:

1) Motion – Approved a donation of $250.00 for Fresh Eyes which is a not-for-profit collection of photographs and stores showcasing Sault Ste. Marie.

2)  Motion  -  Approved a donation of 41000.00 to the Kidney Foundation for their walk which will be held September 21st, 2025 in Sault Ste Marie.

3)  Motion -  Approved a donation of $1000.00 to support Sault Pride



 

President Report

-  Mike was not available to attend this meeting.


The next General Membership Meeting will be held on  July 16th, 2025 at the Royal Canadian Legion at 7:30 pm.
