Rally March 1, 2024

Rally March 1, 2024

Local 2251 will be attending a Rally on Friday March 1, 2024 in front of Ross Romano’s office at 390 Bay St., from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.

The purpose of the Rally is to convince the Conservative Government to address the physician shortage using the https://www.cpso.on.ca/en/Physicians/Registration/Registration-Policies/Practice-Ready-Assessment-Program.

This process is available in Ontario to fast track Internationally trained doctors to be able to provide various levels of health care.

Local 2251 is requesting that all members de-rostered from the Group Health Centre and all citizens of Sault Ste. Marie affected by the shortage of primary care physicians attend the rally.

We are also requesting that all Local 2251 members that are available donate the one hour on Friday March 1, 2024 in support of their brothers, sisters and retirees that have been de-rostered due to the shortage of primary care physicians.
